Full itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport where you will be welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center. The rest of the day is free for you to relax after your journey.
Day 2: Yangon City Exploration
Start your day with a visit to the iconic Shwedagon Pagoda, the most important religious site in Myanmar. Afterward, enjoy breakfast at a local tea shop before exploring Yangon’s colonial downtown on foot. Walk past historic buildings while tasting local street food and snacks. In the evening, visit the Karen Quarter and head to Kyeemyindaing riverbank to enjoy a beautiful sunset over the Yangon River.
Day 3: Yangon – Heho – Kalaw
Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive approximately 1.5 hours to Kalaw, a charming hill town known for its cool climate and scenic surroundings. Check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 4: Kalaw Trekking & Birdwatching
Begin the day with a trekking and birdwatching excursion to Yay Aye Kan reservoir, a peaceful spot ideal for observing local bird species. Continue your trek to visit the historic Kan Bar Ni Cave, an important religious site in the area.
Day 5: Kalaw – Village Experience – Cycle to Inle Lake
Drive to Pattupauk village where you will meet local residents and enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch in a village house. In the afternoon, start your cycling journey downhill towards Inle Lake, passing through scenic countryside.
Day 6: Inle Lake Exploration & Birdwatching
Wake up early for a birdwatching experience around the tranquil waters of Inle Lake. Return to your hotel for breakfast, then spend the day exploring the lake’s highlights including pagodas, monasteries, and traditional workshops. End the day with a stunning sunset at Main Thauk Bridge.
Day 7: Cycling Around Inle Lake
