Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)

Mingalaba! Welcome upon arrival by local tour guide then we transfer to the hotel. Checking in, relax for the rest of the day and enjoy welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant in town. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 2: Yangon City tour (B)

Yangon city is a must-see city for tourists who want to see a different Asia. It’s the largest city in Myanmar with the combination of nature and cultures and communities. This city was found in 1755 by King Alaungpaya and Yangon means “End of Strife”.

After that, we visit Chauk Htat Gyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda a colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for the photo stop, Yangon’s city center featuring Sule Pagoda at the city center and colonial building. Before enjoying the sunset at Yangon’s city center covering the world’s famous Shwedagon Pagoda, we drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market.

Day 3: Yangon – Fly to Mandalay (B)

Take away breakfast which is prepared by the hotel, we take our early morning flight to Mandalay where we spend a full day exploring the city’s highlights. Make your first visit of the day at Mahamuni Pagoda, home to the most highly revered Buddha image of the country. Then, proceed to Kyauktawgyi Pagoda where houses a large Buddha image carved out of a single block of marble.
Our next stop will be Shwenandaw Monastery. The monastery is also known as the Golden Palace as used to be a part of the Royal Palace and a textbook example of the exquisite wood carving.
Today’s sightseeing also includes a visit to Mandalay Palace, the residence of the last Burmese king. Inside the palace is a boutique of chambers for you to discover.
End of the day, we enjoy the sunset on Mandalay Hill and relax. Overnight in Mandalay.

Day 4: Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing (B, L)

Hope you have a good sleep last night. The fourth day of our Myanmar itinerary 8 days begins with a private boat trip along the Ayeyarwady River to Mingun, a small town on the west bank of Mandalay.
Stop at Settawya Pagoda and enjoy the tranquil aura around the whitewashed pagoda which was built to house a marble footprint of the Buddha.
Take leisure walk to Mingun Pahtotawgyi, a massive unfinished pagoda built to be the largest pagoda in the world. Then head to the world-renowned ringing Mingun Bell & Yatheintan Pagoda.
In the afternoon, we drive to Sagaing Hill where is known as the living center of the Buddhist faith in Myanmar nowadays. From here, we can see the hillsides are dotted with many Pagodas and Monasteries. Continuing visiting Khaungmudaw Pagoda before seeing the sunset on the top of Sagaing Hill.

Day 5: Mandalay – boat to Bagan

Today we travel to Bagan by cruise ship along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Catching Bagan in the early evening, we check in and relax. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 6: Bagan – Full day visiting (B)

Bagan is a city where visitors can visit all year around. With more than 2,000 Pagodas & Temples dating back more than 1500 years of history, Bagan is one of the most fascinating places for visitors when traveling this country. This is also an ideal place for beautiful local Art, such as Lacquerware, bamboo works & wonderful local made cloth.
After breakfast, we visit Shwezigon Pagoda and its magnificent golden stupa, Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decoration, Gubyaukgyi Temple, with superb mural paintings of Jataka scenes. Later on, we visit Myinkaba Village, observe the process of Traditional Lacquer ware Industry one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts.

Thabinnyu Temple, the highest temple in Bagan, Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork. Before enjoying the sunset over the site from the upper terrace of Shwesandaw Pagoda, we stop at the colorful Nyaung U Market. This is a real local market selling beautiful fruit and vegetables, meats, fish, clothes. Overnight in Bagan.

Day 7: Bagan – Mt. Popa – Yangon (B)

A little bit challenge today for up climbing more than 700 hundred steps to visit Mt. Popa. The view from the top of Mt. Popa is spectacular. It’s a worthy place to visit before transferring back to the airport to take our evening flight to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.
