Mingalabar! Welcome to Myanmar, a fabulous country where the culture & magnificent heritage rolled into one.
Today we take a flight to Kawthaung. Upon arrival, welcomed by the representative driver and transferred to the hotel for check-in. The rest day is free at leisure.
Overnight in Kawthaung.
Day 2: Kawthaung – Kyat Mauk Island (B, L, D)
Wake up in the sound of waves lapping on the seashore this morning. After immigration clearance, we will leave from Kawthaung’s Myoma Jetty to Kyat Mauk Island around 4 pm. Enjoy the majestic sunset from the boat.
Day 3: Kyat Mauk Island – Shark Cave (B, L, D)
Start the day with easy diving in High Rock and Rocky 1. You will have a very first look at the wonderful marine life of Mergui Archipelago. You will find all the special things like pipefish, Pineapple Fish, Frogfish, Sea Horses and many different species.
After that, take another 2 more dives in Shark cave – one of the most stunning diving sites of Mergui Archipelago. It’s where you will capture a good chance to witness more than one shark inside the cave and different creatures such as sea-horses, pipefish, and gorgeous coral reef. If luckily, you will even see manta ray, eagle ray, nurse shard and many more!
Day 4: Twin Island (B, L, D)
A full day to explore the life under the water of Twin Island. We will first take 3 dives in North Twin and 1 dive in South Twin. Be amazed by numerous manta ray, eagle ray, grey manta ray, zebra shark and giant sea fans.
Day 5: The Arc, Boulder Rock & Macleod Island (B, L, D)
After breakfast this morning, take 4 dives in the Arc, Boulder Rock, and Macleod Island. You will see amazing soft coral everywhere surrounded by colorful sea creatures: pineapple fish, ghost pipefish, and nudis. While Boulder Rock will show you the wonderful Whale Shark, the Arc is the place you will see many lobsters.
Day 6: Seafan Forest Pinnacle & Western Rocky (B, L, D)
Today is a highlight of our diving trip. We will take 2 dives in Seafan Forest Pinnacle. This is a forest of impressive giant sea fans where you will capture some of the big stuff. Take 2 dives in fantastic Western Rocky, one of the most popular diving sites in Myanmar to observe Bigmouth Guitar Fish, Nurse Shark, Grey Reef Shark, etc.
Day 7: Shark Point & secret lagoon – Kawthaung (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Shark point and secret lagoon. These are amazing dives to marvel at the colorful soft coral reef. There you will have a great opportunity to see Blacktip sharks, Tunnas, Snappers, Turtle, and small stuff.
After the dive, we take a trip back to Kawthaung. On arrival, transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Day 8: Kawthaung – Yangon Departure (B)
This morning, enjoy your time at leisure and wait for the driver to pick you up to the airport for a flight back to Yangon. Trip ends. Thank you for traveling with Go Myanmar Tours!
