He was none, but King of Alaung Sithu the Great (474-529). He had sent his elder son Min Shin Saw into exile, and invested younger son Narathu with full power on his behalf to do supervise all departments such as, administration, management, judiciary, finance and defence. At the age of 81 years King Alaung Sithu became senile, weak and sick of old age. Thus Narathu treacherously carried him into shwegugyi Pagoda. When he became conscious he asked the guard, who sent him here, and the guard simply answered that Narathu himself brought him into the temple.
Immediately after hearing the news Narathu alone stealthily entered into the cave temple and found the king was wearily exhausted, breathing very hard. Thus Narathu approached the king’s bed, picked up a pillow and pressed it over the face thereby killing him in suffocation, so the king became Min Sithu Nat abruptly.
