Kondaw Gyi Temple

Bagan Temple - Kondaw Gyi

13th century
The name Kon means a hill, and the temple is built on one. The word ‘daw’ is added to words that are connected to royalty or religion. There are two stairs set into the walls in each corner of the entrance hall. The murals are delicate and elegant, with detailed flora motifs.
