Day 1: Yangon – Bagan (B)

Mingalabar! Welcome to the majestic Yangon!
This morning, our driver will pick you up early in the hotel to the airport for a domestic flight to Bagan to start your Myanmar itinerary 5 days. Upon arrival, hit the way to the local Nyaung U Market where is the best time to get a glimpse at the local pace of life. The market is where you will find a variety of interesting local products. There you will have a chance to engage with the friendly people whose face are covered with Tanaka make-up. Continue to Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the most sacred religious sites in Myanmar. Perhaps it is one of the most well-known gilded pagodas in Myanmar that enshrines the Buddha’s relics. Then your guide also takes you to Kyanzittha Umin, a tunnel with an interesting feature of exotic paintings. Proceed to Htilominlo Temple, the majestic 46-meter tall sanctuary which is among the largest monuments on the plains of Bagan.

In the afternoon, visit Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece built on Mon style. It is also known as the finest, largest, best preserved, and most reserved of Bagan temples. Head to Dhamayangyi, the largest temple on the plains of Bagan. In the late afternoon, transfer to the jetty to embark on a small boat sailing along the poetic Irrawaddy River and enjoy the stunning sunset view over the region.

Day 2: Bagan Discovery (B)

Rise before dawn this morning to capture one of the best sunrises in the world. What’s a better way to gain authentic local insight than spending time to visit some family in the rural area. After breakfast, follow your guide to Minanthu village to see the daily life of the villagers and explore the traditional cotton weaving, silversmiths. Your countryside discovery also includes a visit to Pwa Saw village to see more handicraft workshops and experience the traditional rural life in Myanmar. Highlight your trip with a horse cart ride in Myinkaba village to explore the hidden temples and some traditional lacquerware workshop where the best lacquerware of Bagan was made.

In the afternoon, visit Gubyaukgyi Temple, the temple of everlasting ancientness. Spend your time to marvel at the fine stuccowork from Bagan period. Continue to Nanpaya Temple, which was built in the Mon style noted for its intricated stone carvings. The legend said that it was once the residence of King Manuha.

Day 3: Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake – Red Mountain Estate (B)

Say goodbye to Bagan this morning to take a flight to Heho. On arrival, transfer to Inle Lake via Pindaya. Along the way, stop at Pindaya cave, which is an incredible cave with thousands of Buddha images inside. In the afternoon, drive up to the Red Mountain winery and vineyard to visit the famous wine factory where the best wines of Myanmar are made. Take your time to taste the best wine and enjoy the gorgeous sunset over the mountain ranges.

Day 4: Inle Lake Excursion (B)

A full day let you explore the most beautiful and productive lake in Myanmar. This morning, embark on a private boat trip with chances to see unique floating villages built up from the strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored with bamboo poles. Make your visits to the silversmith factory, silk weaving village, cheroot making factory to learn more about the local production. Then visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State, where enshrines five of 800-year-old images of the Buddha covered with gold. Keep moving to Indein village home to the Pa-Oh people, where you will spend time to discover the ancient pagoda in different shapes and colors.

Day 5: Inle Lake – Half Day City Tour – Departure (B)

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to take a flight back to Yangon. On arrival, spend the rest of the day to discover the fabulous city of Yangon. Get on your private car and transfer to the downtown city where you will catch the best image of British colonial faded on the street building. Stop at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to admire the famous 66 meters long reclining Buddha image. Then we also visit Sule Pagoda, the 2500-year-old pagoda in the heart of Yangon. After that, soak up the hustle and bustle atmosphere of Bogyoke Aungsan Market, the largest bazaar in Yangon. It’s where you will find an array of Burmese and Chinese products such as textiles, handicrafts, painting especially gems and jewelry. Later, our guide with say goodbye to you and the driver will transfer you to the airport or hotel where your holiday ends.
