The Yangon Thingyan pavilion was opened up on Tuesday, 12 April 2016 at Sule City Hall.
Thingyan, Myanmar Water Festival is held around in the middle of April lasting four or five days in the New Year. It is also celebrated in neighboring Theravada Buddhist countries like Pii Mai in Laos, Songkran in Thailand, and Chnam Thmey in Cambodia.
The water festival is for washing away the bad luck and sins to of the last year. This is best time to have a Myanmar tour for the interesting experience in the charming country.
